Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring a Tool Setter / Hanger on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. You will set up tools and equipment for production, hang components for processing, and contribute to safe, quality-driven output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. Prior tool setting or manufacturing experience is advantageous, with shifts rotating between early and late.

We are currently recruiting for a Tool Setter / Hanger to join our client's team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Tool Setter / Hanger, you will play an important role in the production process, ensuring tools and equipment are correctly set up and components are prepared for processing. You'll be working as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, helping to maintain quality and ensure production runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and preparing tools and equipment for production.
• Hanging components ready for processing.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider production team as required.

Shift Pattern

The role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

• Early shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Late shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

You will rotate between the two shifts each week.
