Epwin Group’s Telford Extrusion & Compounding division is seeking a Tool Servicing Operator for a days-only, permanent position at Stafford Park, Telford. You will maintain and service extrusion tooling, ensuring peak machine performance and product quality, collaborating with production and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, engineering or tool maintenance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.

• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience in extrusion/plastics tooling is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean, service and maintain extrusion tooling to required standards.
• Inspect tooling for wear and damage, reporting issues.
• Prepare tooling for production changeovers.
• Assist with tool repairs and minor maintenance activities.
• Maintain tooling records and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the tool servicing area.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the department.

Tool Servicing Operator

Telford Extrusion Stafford Park, Telford Window Systems Division

Shift Pattern: Days Only ¦ 4 on, 4 off ¦ 6:00am - 6:00pm

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Telford Extrusion & Compounding (TE&C), part of the Epwin Group's Window Systems Division, is looking to recruit a Tool Servicing Operator to join our manufacturing team based at Stafford Park, Telford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing business that supplies high-quality extrusion products to the UK's building products market.

About the Role

As a Tool Servicing Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and preparing extrusion tooling to ensure optimum machine performance and product quality. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will play a key role in supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, service and maintain extrusion tooling to required standards.
• Inspect tooling for wear and damage, reporting any issues identified.
• Prepare tooling for production changeovers.
• Assist with tool repairs and minor maintenance activities.
• Ensure tooling records and maintenance documentation are completed accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the tool servicing area.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the department.

About You

The successful candidate will:
