Job summary

Epwin Group is seeking a production operative to manufacture PVC frames on the production line, working Monday to Thursday nights. The role focuses on delivering high quality products for internal and external customers.

You will work in a small team across sections, use air tools, operate fabrication machinery, rotate duties to cover staff absences, and uphold Health, Safety and Quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line to manufacture PVC frames.
• Use air powered tools to secure hardware to frames.
• Rotate through machine shop, welding, fitting and glazing sections.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout the build.
• Lift up to 25kg independently; heavier lifts require assistance per safety rules.

Job description

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 18:00-06:00

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be required to manufacture PVC frames through the production line to provide high quality products to internal and external customers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Working in a small team within all sections on the production floor to include machine shop, welding, fitting and glazing.
• Using air powered tools to secure hardware to the frame.
• Use of self-standing windows fabrication machinery.
• Rotating section work to ensure multi skilled working and provide cover for staff absences
• To provide high quality standards throughout the build
• Ability to lift up to 25kg on own. Above this weight additional personnel will be provided as in line with Health & Safety standards
• Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.

Role Requirements:
