Banana Moon Day Nurseries is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join our team. Our nursery provides high-quality childcare from 3 months to 5 years.

As the Toddler Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our toddlers. You will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Toddler room, creating a safe and stimulating environment.
2. Plan and deliver a curriculum that supports toddlers' development.
3. Observe and assess toddlers' progress, and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
4. Supervise and support the development of room staff.
5. Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
6. Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
2. Experience working with toddlers.
3. Strong knowledge of child development for children aged 18 months to 3 years old.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children.
