PJT Partners, Inc. is seeking an Associate for its expanding TMT team within Strategic Advisory. You will engage in deal execution and business development, supporting lean deal teams with exposure to senior practitioners.

Candidates should have knowledge of the Media and Software industries and be prepared to work across sectors and countries as needed. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant investment banking or corporate development experience, strong modelling skills, and fluency in

Competenze

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
• 2–5 years of relevant investment banking or corporate development experience.
• Fluency in English is required and another European language is preferred.
• Experience with financial modelling including operating and valuation models.
• Breadth of financing (equity, equity-linked and debt) and strategic advisory experience.
• Resume must be in PDF format.

Mansioni

• Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including the analysis of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales, and divestitures.
• Leading the day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements; work with senior management and coordinate analyst materials.
• Analysing financial data and developments in financial markets important to the business of PJT Partners.
• Conducting research of targeted industries for investment purposes.
• Performing valuation analysis of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including the assessment of financial risks.
• Designing and developing quantitative models to assess the economic performance of targeted companies.
• Preparing written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities for use by PJT Partners management and review by clients.
• Participating in both internal and external client meetings, negotiation of contracts and other agreements, and due diligence sessions.
• Mentoring and training of juniors.
