Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a Tissue Viability Nurse (Band 6) in King’s Lynn. The role involves autonomous clinical leadership, specialist wound care across community and inpatient settings, and education for clinical teams.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to promote best practice, lead on tissue viability pathways, and drive service development while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
• Degree and/or Masters level post-graduate qualification or willingness to undertake ENB N18 or Leg Ulcers course
• Tissue Viability Course passed or willingness to undertake training

Responsibilities

• Maintain tissue viability best practice across Norfolk Adults in partnership with service leads, including community and inpatient teams
• Manage a patient caseload and evaluate clinical outcomes
• Apply assessment, analytical and clinical reasoning skills to patient conditions
• Build links across NHS settings to improve patient care
• Provide clinical leadership, advice and support to healthcare professionals
• Deliver education and training to clinical teams
