East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust seeks an experienced Tissue Viability and Skin Integrity Nurse Consultant to provide expert clinical and professional leadership across the Trust and the wider health system.

The post holder will lead tissue viability/skin integrity services, influence wound care strategies, and drive quality improvement, governance, and education initiatives across Norfolk Adults and the East of England Community Health and Care Trust.

Qualifications

• Educated to MSc Professional Practice (Tissue Viability) with senior-level experience.
• Member of relevant professional body.
• Experience of managing budgets and HR staffing issues.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert clinical leadership for tissue viability and skin integrity services across the Trust.
• Influence strategic decision-making relating to wound care, pressure ulcer prevention and skin integrity.
• Lead quality improvement programmes relating to tissue viability and skin integrity.
• Develop clinical standards, policies, pathways and governance frameworks.
• Responsible for day-to-day line management of Tissue Viability Specialist Nurses and related roles.
• Provide specialist consultancy to clinical teams and executive leaders.
• Lead education and competency development programmes across the workforce.
• Influence service development regionally and nationally through networks and research.
• Support management of a designated budget and procurement decisions relating to wound care products and equipment.
• Lead investigations of serious incidents and complex complaints.
