Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 5 Tissue Viability Nurse to join the Tissue Viability Team in Newham. You will provide expert advice on leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and complex wounds in community and inpatient settings.

You will deliver education to healthcare professionals, undertake holistic assessments, develop person-centred care plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve healing and prevent admissions.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC pin and first level registration.
• Experience delivering care in community settings and wound management.
• Able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist tissue viability advice and clinical input across community and inpatient settings.
• Deliver education and training on wound prevention and management.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to prevent admissions and support early discharge.
• Undertake autonomous clinical duties and develop care plans.
