Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Workshop Operator for a Cambuslang-based client in the timber frame construction sector. This hands-on production role suits someone with joinery or timber fabrication experience.

You will work on production benches, use hand and power tools, and maintain health and safety standards while handling heavy items. Shifts available: early 6am–2pm (£12.71 per hour) or back 2pm–10pm (£13.75 per hour), with Friday early finish.

Qualifications

• Hands-on joinery or timber fabrication background.
• Confident with hand and power tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work across all production benches and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work on production and construction benches to prepare timber frames.
• Use a variety of hand tools, saws and machinery.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting during shifts.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties.
