Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Redditch is seeking a Wooden Assembly Operative to join our growing manufacturing team. This full-time, permanent role pays £12.71–£14.24 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay) and runs Monday to Friday with overtime available.

You will assemble timber roof trusses, wall and floor panels, read technical drawings, and maintain high workmanship standards while following health and safety policies. CSCS card is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in timber frame assembly, woodworking or similar manufacturing roles.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, diligent team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble timber roof trusses, wall panels, floor panels and spindles to specification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and production plans.
• Maintain high workmanship standards with attention to detail.
• Adhere to health and safety policies for a safe workspace.
