Job summary

Galaxy Personnel in Norwich seeks a skilled TIG welder to join a busy workshop team. The role focuses on stainless steel fabrication with attention to drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have TIG welding experience on stainless steel, be able to fabricate, and be willing to work overtime as required in a full-time Norfolk setting.

Responsibilities

• Reporting any defects to management.
• Using various hand and power tools to ensure all products meet company standards.

Role – TIG Welding position

Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Full time hours – Monday to Friday
Capacity of role – Permanent
Salary – £16.00 – £17.50 per hour

Our client is seeking a TIG welder to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will need to have worked in a similar position and will be confident with working Stainless steel.

Main duties

• Setting up and preparing welding equipment
• Reading welding engineering drawings to ensure accurate welds
• Operating TIG welding machinery with precision and to specification
• Conducting visual inspections and quality checks, performing repairs or rework as needed
• Reporting any defects to management
• Using various hand and power tools to ensure all products are up to company standards.

Candidate Attributes
