Job description

Our established client, who has been in business for over 30 years, is a provider of bespoke engineering solutions from concept to completion to a number of customers in the UK and overseas.

They specialise in stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium fabrication, using the latest CNC machinery and computer-aided design software (CAD) to complete jobs to the highest standards.

The company's products range from industrial stainless steel tanks to consumables for the recycling industry.

Our client has already delivered a wide range of high-profile projects and has recently been awarded another major contract. They are now looking to add a Tig Welder/Fabricator on a permanent contract.

DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Reading and understanding 2D/3D customer drawings.
  • Using fabrication machinery including press brakes, rolls, and guillotines.
  • Tacking up components into finished assemblies.
  • Ensuring manufactured items are built accurately.
  • Welding to thicknesses of 1mil to 10mil.
KEEN TO SPEAK TO
  • Time-served or apprentice-trained fabricators/welders.
  • Experience in TIG welding, particularly stainless steel and thin gauge materials.
  • Sheet metal workers.
  • Welding experience with thicknesses from 1mil to 5mil.
THE OFFER
  • Pay rate of £16 - £18 per hour, dependent on experience.
  • Regular daytime hours with a 2 pm finish on Fridays.
  • Overtime available, paid at ½ and double time.
  • Shop and site work.
