Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a TIG Welder/Fabricator to join an established industrial manufacturer in Camberley. The role focuses on TIG welding stainless steel housings to engineering drawings, with some MIG welding, and developing build methods for bespoke designs.

You will enjoy a Monday–Thursday day pattern, Friday early finish, and a permanent, full-time role with no nights or weekends. Applicants must have proven TIG welding experience in stainless steel and the ability to read

TIG Welder / Fabricator – Stainless Steel

Location: Camberley

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 07:30 – 13:30

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for a TIG Welder / Fabricator.

This role suits a stainless TIG welder who takes pride in clean, consistent welds and wants more than repeat production. As well as building standard housings, you’ll help develop the methods for specialised one-off designs and improve the way the standard range is made.

TIG Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding stainless steel housings to engineering drawings
• TIG welding stainless steel, with some MIG welding
• Checking your own work against quality standards before passing housings to stage inspection
• Developing build methods for specialised and bespoke housings
• Improving manufacturing methods for the standard housing range
• Helping maintain workshop and production equipment

TIG Welder / Fabricator Requirements

• Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel
• Hands-on experience in an engineering workshop
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Consistent, accurate weld quality with strong attention to detail
• A technical mindset and the ability to pick up new skills quickly
• Sheet metal and MIG welding experience is an advantage, but not essential
