Job summary

Tap Zenn is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder for a full-time, permanent role at our Mayobridge fabrication facility. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on steel fabrications, read engineering drawings, and assemble components to specification. A strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork is essential.

MIG/TIG Welder

Location: Mayobridge, Co. Down
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join a well-established steel fabrication and manufacturing company based in Mayobridge.

With over 40 years of experience in the industry, the company designs and manufactures a wide range of steel products for the waste management, recycling, construction and agricultural sectors. Operating from a modern fabrication facility, they provide bespoke manufacturing solutions to customers across the UK, Ireland and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding on a variety of steel fabrications
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabricating and assembling components to specification
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

• Working as part of a skilled fabrication team

Requirements

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment
