Job summary

Robert Hurst Group Ltd in Co. Tyrone is seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy structural steel fabrication workshop. You will weld structural components from engineering drawings, producing high‑quality welds to company standards and working safely in a busy environment.

This permanent role offers Monday–Friday hours, an immediate start, and the chance to work on major commercial and industrial projects across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding in structural steel or heavy fabrication.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable with a good work ethic.
• Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous but not required.

You’ll be working in a modern fabrication workshop producing high‑quality steel components, including:

• Structural steel girders
• Roof trusses
• Steel stanchions (columns)
• Heavy steelwork and bespoke fabrication

The Role

MIG welding of structural steel components, working from engineering drawings, producing high‑quality welds to company standards, working safely within a busy fabrication workshop, and collaborating with the fabrication team to meet production targets.

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience within structural steel or heavy fabrication
