Job summary

Manpower UK in Nottingham is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a permanent full-time role on a rotating day/night shift. You will weld stainless and mild steel, with aluminium welding desirable, reading engineering drawings and delivering high-quality fabricated components to customer specs.

The role requires proven manufacturing/engineering experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a precision environment; overtime opportunities and a modern facility are on

Qualifications

Job description

This permanent TIG Welder position in Nottingham offers a salary between £27,300 and £33,150 annually, plus a night shift allowance of £21 per night. Working a rotating pattern of one day and one night shift, the successful candidate will produce high-quality fabricated components to customer specifications within a precision engineering setting. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience in manufacturing or engineering, with confident ability to weld stainless and mild steel. Aluminium welding skills are desirable. Reading engineering drawings and maintaining strict standards of accuracy are essential duties. Manpower UK seeks someone who takes pride in exceptional workmanship and can contribute from day one.

Experienced TIG Welder 1 Day Shift & 1 Night Shift | (Nottingham) Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour | Nightshift allowance: £21 per night We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy and growing precision engineering and fabrication environment in Nottingham. This role is ideal for welders who take pride in producing exceptional, high quality work and can contribute from day one.

The Role You will be responsible for producing high quality fabricated components to customer specifications, ensuring all work meets strict standards of accuracy, quality and precision.

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong aluminium welding experience (desirable)
• Confident welding stainless steel and mild steel
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Skilled in producing cosmetic and structural welds
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to inspect own work and maintain high-quality standards
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Please note: This is not a trainee position. We require experienced TIG Welders who can deliver high£quality work immediately.
