Travel Trade Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an Aviation & Ticketing Executive to join a hybrid team. You will manage airline bookings from reservation to issue, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, while supporting busy periods.

The role requires strong Amadeus GDS knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with airlines, consolidators and internal colleagues.

• Good knowledge of airline fares, booking classes and ticketing procedures.

• A willingness to embrace new systems, automation and processes.
• Desirable: long-haul destinations and airline networks, and automated ticketing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Manage airline bookings and ticketing from reservation through to issue.
• Issue and amend airline tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Work confidently with Amadeus GDS, including reservations, ticketing, fare building and fare rules.
• Manage schedule changes, out-of-date-range flights and other ticketing requirements.
• Check bookings thoroughly to minimise errors and potential financial loss.
• Work with airline fares, booking classes, route networks and ticketing conditions.
• Identify and elevate ticketing issues where required.
• Maintain accurate records and follow quality-control procedures.
• Work closely with Reservations, Operations, Sales and Aviation colleagues.
• Build strong relationships with airlines, consolidators and suppliers.
• Support the team during busy periods and operational disruption.

TICKETING EXECUTIVE

Location: Greater Manchester
Working pattern: Hybrid
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:55am-5:40pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We're working with an established travel business that is looking for an Aviation & Ticketing Executive to join its Manchester-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail behind air travel, has excellent ticketing knowledge and takes pride in getting things right first time.

THE ROLE as an Aviation and Ticketing Executive

You'll be responsible for managing airline bookings and ticketing from reservation through to issue, ensuring everything is processed accurately and within the required deadlines.

You'll also:

• Issue and amend airline tickets accurately and efficiently
• Work confidently with Amadeus GDS, including reservations, ticketing, fare building and fare rules
• Manage schedule changes, out-of-date-range flights and other ticketing requirements
• Check bookings thoroughly to minimise errors and potential financial loss
• Work with airline fares, booking classes, route networks and ticketing conditions
• Identify and elevate ticketing issues where required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll ideally have:

Desirable: Experience with long-haul destinations and airline networks, ODR or similar airline processes, and automated ticketing tools.
