East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a permanent Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to support adults with complex swallowing and communication difficulties. The role covers inpatient, outpatient, and some community work across Norfolk, three days a week, with driving required.

You will assist SLTs in treatment on wards and clinics, undertake admin tasks, and help coordinate with the multidisciplinary team under therapist direction.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy up to GCSE pass or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3.

Responsabilités

• Carry out care programmes for adults with swallowing and communication difficulties.
• Assist SLTs on wards, clinics and in the community.
• Work independently in the community across Norfolk.
• Undertake clinical and non-clinical duties supporting the service.
• Provide admin support for patient-related activity.
• Share responsibility for indirect patient contact tasks.
• Link members of the multidisciplinary team.
