Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust in Norwich is seeking a part-time Speech & Language Therapy Assistant to join the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation Services. This permanent 22.5-hour position supports adults with complex swallowing and communication needs under supervision.

You will work across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, lone working with a driving licence, providing administrative support while helping Speech & Language Therapists deliver

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Speech & Language Therapists by delivering individual care programs for adult patients under the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation Services (CCSRS) in both inpatients and outpatients.
• Work alongside therapists or independently under the therapists' direction, including lone working in the community across Norfolk and requiring a driving licence.
• Assist in the delivery of speech & language therapy treatment for adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Undertake a variety of clinical and non-clinical duties under supervision to support service delivery, including administrative tasks.
• Facilitate links between all members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist SLTs daily in supporting patients with complex swallowing and/or communication difficulties in wards, outpatient clinics and community settings.
