Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is recruiting two experienced Adult Speech and Language Therapists to join a community-based team within East Coast Community Healthcare CIC. You will deliver specialist assessments and interventions for adults with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• HCPC registered to practice as an SLT.
• Experience in adult Speech and Language Therapy services.
• Dysphagia training and experience are desirable.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Experience delivering face-to-face community-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist assessments for adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Undertake dysphagia assessments and provide appropriate management recommendations where required.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care.
• Provide education, advice, and support to patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organizational standards.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and best practice development.
