Job summary

Huntress Labs is hiring a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate a variety of intrusions on a daily basis. The role offers 100% remote work within the UK, with a compensation range of £62,000 to £70,500 base plus bonus and equity, and opportunities to grow your analyst skills within an elite SOC team.

You will work on detecting, analyzing, and mitigating threats across Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as an attack surface.
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, PowerShell, and Windows tooling.
• Static and dynamic malware analysis concepts.
• Knowledge of Windows administration or enterprise domain administration.
• Knowledge of core networking concepts; web technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to explain complex events to non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity and genuine excitement for learning.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Perform tactical review of telemetry, logs, and artifacts to determine root causes and remediations.
• Conduct tactical malware analysis as part of triage and investigation.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and provide remediations.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Participate in projects to improve outcomes for analysts and partners.
• Collaborate in a mentored team environment.
