Job summary

Huntress seeks a Security Operations Center Analyst for a remote UK position. You will triage, investigate, and respond to intrusions daily and work with a mission-driven SOC to protect customers worldwide from cyber-attacks.

You will analyze EDR logs, perform malware analysis, and provide actionable remediations. The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and growth within a supportive, remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as attack surfaces.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and common security tooling.
• Experience in malware analysis basics.
• Understanding of AD, networking, and web tech concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Analyze telemetry, logs, and artifacts to root-cause threats and guide remediations.
• Perform malware analysis as part of alert triage.
• Investigate suspicious M365 activity and advise remediations.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and team improvement projects.
• Collaborate within a mentored SOC team to raise overall capability.
