Job summary

Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to triage, investigate, respond, and remediate intrusions daily. Join a mission-driven team protecting customers worldwide and advancing your analyst skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a passionate SOC, contributing to threat detection and incident response while growing your career through hands-on experiences and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as attack surfaces.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and common offense/defense tools.
• Experience with static and dynamic malware analysis concepts.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Analyze telemetry and forensic artifacts to determine root causes and remediation.
• Conduct tactical malware analysis as part of investigations.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft 365 activity and provide remediations.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support for threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Contribute to projects improving analysts and partners' outcomes.
