Job description
Overview

As our new Senior M&A Integration Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that newly acquired companies and business units are integrated smoothly and effectively, supporting both business goals and our culture. You will lead integration planning and execution from due diligence through to post‑close delivery, working closely with leaders across People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tech, and Content. Some acquisitions will be fully integrated, others will maintain independence – you will define and manage the appropriate integration approach for each case. You will also be responsible for developing and continuously improving Podimo's integration playbooks, frameworks, and best practices, helping us scale our M&A activities with clarity and consistency. The role is based out of our newly rebuilt Copenhagen HQ and reports directly to our Chief People & Culture Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Support due diligence and pre‑acquisition processes with the M&A team, including information gathering, stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, and preparation of integration plans to ensure a seamless transition post‑close.
  • Lead and coordinate integration programs across newly acquired companies, tailoring the level and scope of integration to the strategic intent of each deal.
  • Design and execute integration strategies and plans, ensuring alignment across people, culture, systems, and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tech, and Content – to ensure a coordinated and transparent integration process.
  • Assess organisational structures, talent, and culture, and develop integration plans that strengthen collaboration and performance.
  • Drive change management and communication efforts, ensuring employees and leaders experience clarity, inclusion, and engagement throughout transitions.
  • Establish integration governance, including milestones, risk tracking, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain Podimo's integration playbooks, capturing learnings, tools, and frameworks to support future M&A activities.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in M&A integration, transformation, or large‑scale organisational change.
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading integration initiatives across multiple business functions with excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of organisational design, change management, and people processes.
  • High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive M&A information.
  • Experience with integration tools, HRIS systems, and collaboration platforms.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Up to six months of fully paid parental leave for all new parents.
  • Free online therapy sessions through We.Care.
  • Delicious lunch with great colleagues.
  • Learning and personal development opportunities to help you thrive and enrich your skills in a fast‑paced creator economy.
  • Opportunity to work flexible hours and remotely.
  • The chance to make an impact at a growing international company and see your work pay off immediately.
