Job summary

JSS is partnering with a specialist financial services firm to appoint a TPRM Manager who will own the external supplier risk lifecycle end-to-end. The role requires translating PRA SS2/21 and SS1/21 into effective policies and controls, and communicating risk insights to senior stakeholders.

You will lead risk-based conversations across risk, technology and the wider business to drive smarter, AI-enabled third-party processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier risk management within financial services.
• Knowledge of PRA SS2/21 and SS1/21.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into policies and controls.
• Strong collaboration with risk, technology and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the full third-party risk lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
• Design and embed risk controls and mitigation plans for regulatory scrutiny.
• Track supplier performance and overall risk across the portfolio.
• Build clear, insight-led reporting for senior leadership and Board.
• Flag emerging risks early and communicate actionable insights.
• Manage supplier relationships, KPIs and SLAs, including issue resolution.
• Maintain ongoing programme compliance while seeking continuous improvement.

I'm partnering with a specialist financial services firm to appoint a TPRM Manager. This is a chance to take full ownership of how the business identifies, manages and oversees its external supplier base, with real visibility at senior leadership and Board level. Responsibilities:

• Owning the full third-party risk lifecycle, from supplier onboarding and due diligence through to ongoing reviews and exit.
• Designing and embedding risk controls and mitigation plans that hold up to regulatory scrutiny.
• Tracking supplier performance and overall risk exposure across the third-party portfolio.
• Building clear, insight-led reporting for senior leadership and Board-level audiences.
• Flagging emerging risks early and communicating them in a way stakeholders can act on.
• Managing key supplier relationships, including setting and monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
• Handling supplier issues, resolving disputes and overseeing managed exits.
• Keeping the programme compliant while continually looking for ways to improve it.

What we're looking for:

• Supplier Risk Manager / TPRM Manager within financial services.
• Good working knowledge of PRA SS2/21 and SS1/21.
• Proven experience across the complete TPRM lifecycle within a regulated environment.
• The ability to convert regulation into workable policies, procedures and controls.
• Confidence engaging and influencing colleagues across risk, technology and the wider business.
