Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd in Bolton is seeking a Third Party Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of Third Party Motor and Property Damage claims, ensuring efficient handling and a high level of service for all parties.

You will liaise with solicitors, insurers and third parties, prioritise workload, investigate liability, and handle complex cases. Experience in Motor Claims or Credit Hire, strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling Third Party Motor claims and/or Credit Hire claims.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to build effective relationships with customers and third parties.
• Strong organisational and computer skills.
• The ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
• CII qualification, or willingness to work towards this.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Third Party Motor and Property Damage claims.
• Prioritise your own workload and manage claims efficiently.
• Investigate claims and establish liability.
• Handle more complex cases, including Liability and High Value claims.
• Liaise with solicitors, insurers, accident management companies and other third parties.
• Identify and refer potentially fraudulent activity.
• Work closely with internal departments throughout the claims process.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
