Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Third Party Claims Handler for a Bolton-based insurer. You will manage a portfolio of Third Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims, delivering an excellent level of service to all parties.

The role requires prior Motor Claims or Third Party Claims experience (including Credit Hire), strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Third Party Motor claims and/or Credit Hire claims.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and third parties.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• CII qualification or willingness to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of Third Party Motor and Property Damage claims.
• Prioritising workload and managing claims efficiently.
• Investigating claims and establishing liability.
• Handling complex cases, including liability and high value claims.
• Liaising with solicitors, insurers, accident management companies and other third parties.
• Identifying and referring potentially fraudulent activity.
• Working closely with internal departments throughout the claims process.
• Delivering a high level of customer service.
