Job summary

1st Central is seeking a proactive Third Party Intervention Advisor in Manchester to join our Claims Ownership team. You will manage third-party claims where the customer is at fault, engaging third parties, promoting our intervention service and driving claim progression with effective negotiation and relationship-building skills.

You will spend the first 7 weeks in the office for training, then move to a hybrid arrangement (3 days at home, 2 in the office) with the option for more time in the

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service, claims or target-driven environments.
• Understanding of claim lifecycle and timely progression.
• Awareness of indemnity control and cost mitigation principles.
• Ability to influence customer decisions and handle objections effectively.

Responsibilities

• Proactively progress third-party claims from initial contact to resolution.
• Engage third parties and promote the benefits of intervention services.
• Identify customer needs and tailor conversations for positive outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and mitigate indemnity spend.
• Coordinate repairs and mobility solutions and control costs.
• Drive claim progression with suppliers, insurers and customers to minimise duration.
