Job summary

Bright Horizons Stourton in Leeds is seeking a Third in Charge to lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education for young children.

You will promote child welfare, safety and safeguarding, liaise with parents and professionals, and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required at the nursery. A Level 3 Early Years qualification and prior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or higher Early Years qualification required.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and compliance with child-protection rules.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents.

You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.
