Job summary

Bright Horizons Barrow is seeking a Third in Charge to lead and mentor a dedicated early years team at our Barrow nursery. You will champion child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, while building strong partnerships with parents and professionals.

With a full Level 3+ Early Years qualification and proven leadership in an early years setting, you’ll act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required and help drive occupancy growth and quality outcomes across the nursery.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and compliance with safeguarding regulations.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety and safeguarding.

You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.
