Job summary

Bright Horizons Northgate House Day Nursery and Preschool in Beaconsfield is seeking a Third in Charge to lead and mentor a dedicated team, delivering high-quality early years care and education.

You will promote child welfare, health and safety, safeguarding, and foster strong partnerships with parents and professionals. The role may require acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when necessary and supporting occupancy growth.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as Third in Charge or Room Leader.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and related legislation.
• Excellent communication and partnership with parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare of children.
• Maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and professionals to meet each child’s needs.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required and support occupancy growth.
• Engage with Local Authority to understand local offerings and practice.
