Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare is seeking an Activity Co-ordinator to join our team at Cygnet Raglan House. The role involves encouraging patients to engage in activities and supporting therapy programmes within a high-support inpatient service for women.

We offer progression opportunities, CPD support, and a DBS-check as part of the selection process. Salary starts at £13.15 per hour, increasing to £13.45 after 3 months, with a 42-hour work week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or a passion for working in healthcare.
• Some knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
• Creative flair and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Awareness of recovery approaches and social inclusion (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Encouraging patients to access and become involved in activities and hobbies.
• Plan and implement therapy programmes with required materials.
• Contribute ideas and facilitate events safely.

Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an Activity Co-ordinator to join our team at Cygnet Raglan House.

The successful candidate will be working 42 hours per week. Working from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM - Monday to Friday.

Cygnet Raglan House is a 25 bed high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for women. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity. Women admitted to the service often come from multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or are stepping down from secure settings.

We are dedicated to understand, stabilise and break the traumatic cycles of relapse that can impact individuals' lives. Our service has been designed with wellness in mind, providing a safe and comfortable environment that promotes efficient rehabilitation and recovery.

Your Day-to-Day at Cygnet Raglan House:

• Encouraging patients to access and become involved in a variety of activities, as well as maintaining any pre-existing hobbies.
• Planning and implementing therapy programmes whilst ensuring appropriate materials are obtaine

We're looking for someone who has
