Job summary

Aspris is recruiting a Therapy Assistant for Fromefield Manor School in Frome. The role supports learners aged 11-19 with autism and complex needs within a dedicated therapy team. Hours are 8.30am–4pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a focus on planning and delivering therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records.

Experience with ASD and familiarity with TEACCH/PECS are desirable. A psychology degree is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with autism desirable.
• Knowledge of TEACCH and PECS systems beneficial.
• Ability to use IT tools for data recording and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist trained clinicians with preparation and support.
• Plan and deliver group and 1:1 occupational therapy and recreational activities.
• Observe, record and report progress to clinicians.
• Create engaging visual resources for sessions and manage caseloads.
