Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Therapies Assistant at Hillingdon Grange – Yiewsley, London. The role supports Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists within an education setting, delivering assessments and interventions to students with SEN.

You will work closely with the education team to tailor activities, develop communication/sensory profiles and contribute to placement plans while observing and training staff, with regular CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Independent motivated; able to work under supervision.
• Ability to deliver bespoke interventions in education settings.
• Excellent communication with carers, families and professionals.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SLT and OT teams with assessments and interventions.
• Create communications and sensory profiles and placement plans.
• Deliver 1:1 and group sessions under supervision.
• Observe, co-facilitate staff training and attend multi-agency meetings.
• Contribute to service development and CPD opportunities.
