Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their busy Physiotherapy Department. The role involves administration duties providing clerical and telephone support, and requires excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate in Welsh.

Qualifications

  • Typing qualification or equivalent experience required.
  • NVQ Level 2 Admin or Customer Service preferred.
  • Experience in customer service and a busy office environment essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and telephone operatory service for the Physiotherapy Department.
  • Support therapy services administration.

Job description

Therapy Services administration are looking to appoint a highly motivated person to work within a busy Physiotherapy Department based within Royal Alexandra Hospital.

The post holder will be a member of the admin team, which provides both a clerical and telephone operator service, for the Physiotherapy Department and administration support to Therapy Services.

Therapy Services comprises of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Orthotics, Speech and Language Therapy and Administration. Each area has it's own Head of Service who is accountable to the Area Director of Therapy Services.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, have good interpersonal skills and work in a flexible and organised manner. He/she must have a good standard of education.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
