Compass Community Schools in Newton-le-Willows is opening a brand-new provision and seeks Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning, work with children 1:1 and in small groups, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant or similar role supporting learning.
• Ability to work 1:1 and with small groups to support pupil progression.
• Strong behaviour management and effective communication with children.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across lessons and activities.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to deliver sessions.
• Manage classroom resources and support trips and visits.
• Assist with lunchtime supervision where required.
• Create engaging displays and contribute to a positive learning environment.
