Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd in Loughborough, East Midlands, is recruiting Therapeutic Support Workers to join a specialist children’s residential service caring for young people with trauma, learning disabilities, mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

Starting salary £28,000, with shift work including overnights and weekends, and fully funded qualifications and development opportunities, plus clear progression pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or behaviours that challenge
• Experience within SEN schools, youth work, community services, semi-independent services, care leavers, youth justice or children's homes
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and overnight stays
• Driving licence and vehicle - essential

Responsibilities

• The role requires full commitment and involves shift work, overnight sleep-ins and weekends, working as part of a dedicated team to ensure young people receive consistent care and support
