Job summary

Qualifications

• Assist with the care of children and young people in a residential setting.
• Develop and utilise therapeutic practices with support and training.
• Build positive relationships with children and safeguard their wellbeing.
• Create timetables, set boundaries and maintain consistency for young people.
• Provide support in classroom settings as a Teaching Assistant when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and supervision of children and young people in the home.
• Support therapeutic practices and reflect on care with the team.
• Build safe, trusting relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Help plan routines, boundaries and schedules for the children.
• Contribute to training and progression toward senior roles.
