Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
  • Provide classroom, individual and small-group support.
  • Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs throughout the school day.
  • Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support emotional regulation.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, independence and positive learning behaviours.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to anxiety, dysregulation and challenging behaviour.
  • Build trusting and positive relationships with pupils.
  • Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and wider support teams.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
