Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Group Facilitator at HMP Dovegate to deliver group-based therapeutic interventions within a multidisciplinary team. You will support residents with complex needs, assess risk, and produce detailed reports to aid rehabilitation and public safety.

The role is part-time (20 hours/week, 3 days) at HMP Dovegate, with pro rata salary and comprehensive benefits. A DBS check and occupational health questionnaire are required to succeed in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group-based interventions in forensic/custodial/clinical settings.
• Experience with psychotherapy, counselling or therapeutic practice.
• Ability to build trust and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience assessing risk and producing high-quality written reports.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and meetings within the Therapeutic Community.
• Support assessment and development of residents with complex needs.
• Prepare professional reports, including parole review documentation.
• Contribute to service development and quality assurance of practice.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational colleagues to maintain a safe environment.
• Promote wellbeing and positive behavioural change through evidence-based interventions.
