Job summary

Serco Limited in the UK is hiring a Group Facilitator for the Therapeutic Community at HMP Dovegate. You will lead group-based interventions, support residents with complex needs, and contribute to safety, wellbeing and rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires experience in forensic or clinical settings, with strong reporting skills and a commitment to reducing reoffending through evidence-based practice. Part-time hours and pro rata benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group-based interventions in forensic or clinical settings.
• Training or experience in psychotherapy, counselling or therapeutic practice.
• Ability to build trust and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in risk assessment and high-quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, community meetings, reviews and assessments within the Therapeutic Community.
• Support assessment, treatment and development of residents with complex needs.
• Prepare professional reports, including parole review documentation.
• Contribute to service development and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational colleagues to maintain a safe environment.
• Promote wellbeing and behavioural change through evidence-based interventions.
