Job summary

SCN Recruitment is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker in a rural Nottinghamshire setting. You will provide nurturing care to children with emotional and behavioral needs, supporting routines and fostering independence in a stable home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children in residential care settings.
• Calm, resilient, child-focused approach is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, structured care to children with emotional and behavioural needs.
• Support daily routines, independence and positive outcomes.
• Maintain safeguarding, recording and documentation to a high standard.
• Work therapeutically within a rural, stable home.
• For Senior roles: lead shifts, support staff and participate in decisions.
