Rotherham Civic Theatre welcomes more than 70,000 customers a year with a programme of professional and amateur shows and the much-loved annual pantomime.
The theatres Casual Assistant is key to the operation of the building and form part of the technical team that deliver shows and events in the theatre and across Culture Sport and Tourism sector. The successful candidates will be required to operate in a safe manner to assist with set up, operation and dismantling of shows within the Civic Theatre or other areas where required.
It would be expected that some knowledge and experience of working in sound, Lighting or stage craft could be demonstrated, with relevant understanding of how to use technical equipment.
The post is a physically demanding role where manual handling will be required. The postholder must be able to work at height, in confined spaces and working in noisy conditions.
