Mersey West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Southport is seeking a Theatre Support Worker to join the theatres team. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, and involves cleaning, preparation of the theatre suite and patient transport to and from the Operating Theatre.

You will handle equipment like floor buffers and scrubber machines, maintain cleanliness, and support infection control. An Enhanced DBS is required, and UK experience is essential; immediate start available.

Qualificações

• GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English as minimum educational requirement.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health Care or equivalent, with willingness to progress.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in transporting patients and belongings to Theatre and wards.
• Handle medical gas, blood components, linen and theatre equipment transport.
• Maintain environmental cleanliness and stock housekeeping areas.
• Inspect equipment and report any faults to EBME.
• Follow policy, protect patient confidentiality and safety.
