Job summary

The Grange University Hospital in Wales is seeking a Band 3 Theatre Support Worker to join our efficient operating theatre team. You will work with the theatre staff to support patient care and help maintain a smooth surgical environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, a flexible approach, and a commitment to compassionate care. Full training will be provided; Welsh language skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and sensitively.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision to a high standard.
• Ability to keep calm in stressful situations and demonstrate a caring approach.
• Organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / virtual platforms (e.g., Teams).
• Welsh language skills desirable (level 1–5).
