Job summary

Bidvane seeks a Theatre Assistant based in the operating theatres at Ysbyty Gwynedd to support patient care in the theatre complex and work with the multidisciplinary team in line with unit procedures. The post starts at Band 2, with progression to Band 3 after in-house competencies, and new starters receive preceptorship support.

The role requires a Level 3 healthcare qualification or evidenced equivalent experience, enhanced DBS clearance including adult and child barred-list checks, and

Qualifications

• Level 3 healthcare-related qualification, or equivalent experience with evidenced work-based competence.
• Experience in clinical care duties or direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-standard patient care in the theatre complex.
• Work as part of the theatre multidisciplinary team to provide non-discriminatory, non-prejudicial care.
• Carry out tasks in line with unit policies and procedures.
