Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC) qualification is required.
• Experience in theatre scrub, anaesthetics or recovery preferred.
• Understanding of infection prevention and patient safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and maintain sterility for surgical cases.
• Assist theatre team and support anaesthetist with equipment setup and monitoring.
• Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and patient needs.
• Check surgical and anaesthetic equipment and report faults.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe lists.
