Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital is seeking a Scrub Practitioner/Theatre Practitioner (ODP) for ad hoc bank shifts in our Glasgow hospital. You will work in the Theatre team, scrubbing and supporting perioperative care across a varied caseload, with weekend work and a pay rate up to £30 per hour depending on experience.

As a Scrub Practitioner, you will be registered with NMC/HCPC, have post-registration scrub theatre experience, and be a team player focused on delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and post-registration scrub theatre experience.
• Able to work within a multidisciplinary team providing perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior team members
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective

You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
