Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Theatre Practitioner for The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale to join their theatre team on a permanent 37.5 hour contract.

The role offers a salary up to £41,000 per year, with flexible shifts and the chance to work within Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
• Theatre environment experience in scrub, anaesthetics or recovery preferred.
• Strong infection control, manual handling and patient safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterility and equipment safety.
• Support anaesthetist with equipment prep, patient monitoring and positioning; assist post-operative care.
• Set up operating theatres per surgery type and patient needs.
• Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment before use and report faults.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient theatre lists.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful theatre environment.
