Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford is seeking a scrub practitioner to join its theatre team. The role is permanent and full-time, welcoming RGNs and HCPC-registered ODPs who will work with anaesthetists and surgeons to prepare and monitor patients across a varied caseload.

You'll supervise junior staff, deliver evidence-based patient care, and benefit from the site's wellness and professional development opportunities. Registration with NMC or HCPC is required.

Qualifications

• NMC registration (RGN) or HCPC registration (ODP) required.
• Post-registration experience in a surgical environment preferred.

Scrub practitioner post in the theatres of Nuffield Health Oxford, a permanent full-time role open to RGNs and ODPs. The work centres on preparing and monitoring patients before, during and after surgery alongside anaesthetists and surgical teams, while supervising and developing junior colleagues. The caseload is mixed across six theatres and inpatient and day care, covering paediatrics, oncology, orthopaedics and several other specialties. Applicants need current NMC or HCPC registration and post-registration experience.
